The Permanent Secretariat of the Transport Community gathers the experts for the first Technical Committee on Road Safety

The first meeting of the Technical Committee on Road Safety took place in Podgorica on 2-3 October. Under the auspices of the TC Permanent Secretariat, the meeting brought together members of the Technical Committee (representatives of states of the Contracting Parties), European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), European Investment Bank (EIB) and United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). 

During the two-day event, the participants discussed the policy orientation and the action plan on road safety, connectivity reform measures, as well as the instruments for the investments to support the road safety as one of the TCT priorities.

CONNECTA Team attended the meeting to share the findings and recommendations from the studies on road safety measures, carried out under CONNECTA CTRM assignments.

The main findings of CONNECTA study ‘Preparation of Road Safety Inspection and Audit Plans for the Core/Comprehensive Road Network in Western Balkans (WB6) and Pilots’, summarized in presentation, are available in the TCT Library.
